School Newsletter

17th Jun 2021

Dear parent/ guardian,

We have almost reached the end of a very different yet rewarding school year and I want to thank you for your patience and cooperation with the school. There is evidence that COVID19 infections are still occurring in our community and I want to ask all our school community to continue to support our efforts to keep COVID19 out of our school.

  • All adults (unless medically exempt) should be wearing a face covering when you come to the school gates to collect or drop your child off. If you have forgotten your mask, please ask me or another member of staff to bring your child down to the gate.
  • If another adult collects your child, please inform them that they should be wearing a face covering.
  • Please do not enter the school gates unless your child's class in called.

Your child's school report will be sent home early next week. A school text will be sent out on the day you will receive it.

Children in Primary 1-6 will have their final school assembly on Wednesday 23rd June and we will have some fun activities planned afterwards. The children do not need to wear uniform on that day.

Primary 7 will have their leavers' assembly and mass on Thursday 24th and we will have fun activities for them afterwards. Unfortunately due to COVID19 restrictions parents may not attend. The P7 children should wear their uniform in to school on that day but should also take a change of clothes. Thursday 24th will be Primary 7's final day in school. Mobile phones are not permitted in school.

School will finish for all other year groups at 12 noon on Friday 25th June.

All money owing should be paid on the school money app before the end of term.

The new school term will begin on Wednesday 1st September.

Thanks again for all your support and I hope your children and yourself have an enjoyable summer.

Best wishes

Seamus McCreesh
