We had a very special visitor in Tannaghmore P.S. today as we welcomed our new Pets as Therapy friend, Finn the Greyhound, and his owner, Kerry! 🐾
Finn spent some time in our Sensory Room meeting a small group of our Primary 7 pupils for the very first time. We were so impressed by how gentle Finn was and how beautifully our P7s followed the rules to make him feel welcome.
The Sensory Room was filled with smiles and a wonderful sense of calm as the children enjoyed some quiet time with their new four-legged friend. This pilot programme is a fantastic way to support our pupils’ well-being, helping them find a moment of peace and companionship during their busy final term.
A huge thank you to Kerry for volunteering her time and to Finn for being such a superstar! We look forward to many more "paws-itive" visits in the weeks ahead.
