We all had a fantastic day today at the Palace Stables in Armagh. We started off preparing our evacuation tags and identity cards in an old fashioned school room. Then we learned more about rationing and foods that people ate during the war before meeting an air warden. We went into an air raid shelter and met a real life American soldier who taught us how to crack secret codes! We really enjoyed bringing history to life!
