What a fantastic day we have had on our trip to Armagh Palace Stables. We had an absolute ball!
We started the day learning all about life as an evacuee child during WW2, next we met Mr Heaney (Mr Meaney) who taught us about things we might eat and people we might meet like an air raid warden before showing us some type of air raid shelters.
After that we met an American solider who taught us some code cracking tips before finally going to a classroom at the time of WW2 to make our own identity cards.
A great day was had by all!
