Congratulations to Rose in P4B who has won the ‘I Love my Boots because…’ creative writing competition, in association with The Museum of Childhood Ireland Project, Emma Larkin Books and Inspire You, Ireland.
Rose’s poem was chosen from among many across Ireland and she received some lovely prizes, including a football signed by Cork LGFA/Camogie great and 21 time All-Ireland Champion, Rena Buckley and a copy of Emma Larkin’s latest book, Izzy’s Magical Football Adventure.
In her poem, titled ‘Rose’s Boots’, Rose describes her football boots, her love of Gaelic football and her dream to play for Armagh LGFA.
Rose – we are very proud of your achievement and have no doubt that you will go far in your Gaelic football career.
