School Arrangements for March

24th Feb 2021

Dear parent,

I hope all the parents and children had a nice break over the mid-term.

The Department of Education announced last week that schools will reopen for children in Primary 1,2 & 3 on Monday 8th – Friday 19th March. At present, we are unsure regarding the availability of school meals but there will be school transport at 2pm only. Breakfast club and the 321 Club will not be available for that fortnight.

Primary 4,5,6 & 7 will continue to access the remote leaning and will return to school on Monday 12th April. School will be open for Key worker children as normal.

This is the information we have to hand presently, however, as I’m sure you’re aware these arrangements could change!

Home School Packs

On Friday 26th February the work packs from the last two weeks have to be returned and the new packs should be collected. The timetable is as follows;

P1, 2, 3 – 9.30-10.30

P4 & P5 - 11am- 12noon

P6 & P7 – 1pm – 2pm

There will be a collection point organised for packs which are being returned. Multiple class packs can be lifted at the same time. Any work which has already been submitted through the website does not need to be returned in the pack!

All adults collecting and dropping off packs will be required to wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing.

The work packs for P1,2 & 3 will cover Monday 1st March to Friday 5th March and will focus on revision and consolidation activities which the children can complete and all the revision work should be returned in the pack on Monday 8th March. The new packs for Primary 4-7 will cover Monday 1st March to Friday 12th March.

Yours Sincerely

Seamus McCreesh

Principal
