Dear Parent/Guardian,

Tannaghmore After School is registered with the Health and Social Care Trust to provide up to 30 sessional childcare places at one time, for the allocation of children in attendance at Tannaghmore Primary School. These places are available during term time only, Monday to Friday 2pm until 6pm.
Tannaghmore After School aims to provide excellent childcare facilities to working parents or those in full-time training or education.

Tannaghmore After School is a committed provider of equal opportunities and is open to every family in the community whose children attend Tannaghmore Primary school, irrespective of religion, culture, disability, linguistic needs, sexual orientation, gender or age.

The current charge is £3.50 per hour, per child, this is subject to change. There is no family rate at this time.
Parents/Guardians are required to complete a Requirement Form for 2022/23 stating how many hours of childcare you need and how many children you require care for.

All applications for admission (Requirement Form) are considered and places allocated in accordance with the criteria in Annex A. Therefore, in advance of making an application, we would advise you to take the time to read over this as it will help you understand how childcare places are allocated each year.

If you are successful, the details you provide in your Requirements Form will form the basis of your letter of offer and subsequent contract for the forthcoming academic year (1 September 2022 to 30th June 2023).

Please only state the number of hours you need as any request to materially reduce (greater than 10 percent) the hours you applied for will either void your letter of offer or trigger your 2 months’ notice period and your contract will lapse. Any Parent/Guardian requiring a material change to their requested / contracted hours will be required to reapply based on their revised requirements, the application will be assessed against the admissions criteria and may result in another applicant scoring higher.

Requirement Forms can be requested from staff in the After School (not the main school) or by emailing tannaghmore.afterschool@gmail.com.

Completed forms must be returned to the After School no later than Wednesday 18th May 2022.
